Instructions
BEFORE DOWNLOADING: Please REGISTER for an account. You will not be able to save or view schedules unless you log in with a valid account.
New users will be added at the beginning of each week. Wait until you receive the e-mail with your user name and download instructions before trying to install the app.
NOTE: The downloadable app is for ANDROID DEVICES only! All other devices (computer, Iphone, etc.) should regsiter and use the WEB-BASED APP from any internet browser.
Click on the link below (scroll down) that says Dog Show Mobile App Download to start the process. On most Android devices you should see the download completing. Click on this download when it is finished.
On some devices, you may get a screen that says that the install was blocked. At this point you must navigate to the settings (may be an option to choose on your screen). In the settings there is an area called Device Administration (it may be called a different name for each device). Under this area, click on the option that says "Unknown Sources". This will allow the installation of applications that do not come from the Google Market.
A prompt may come up asking if you want to install the application and you just click "Install".
You should receive a confirmation screen that the application has been installed. Click "Open".
Once you fill out the Registration Form, a user name will be e-mailed to you with instructions (e-mails are sent at the beginning of each week). Open the App (after installing it) and log in with your user name. Once you do that, you will be able to set up your personal schedule for the shows and it will be automatically saved to your account so you can access it from any android phone, or any other device (using the Web App).
Request an upcoming/future show that you plan on attending, so that the DogShowApp will make that schedule available to you. Go to the Show Request Form and fill out the details (date, place, and superintendent of the show).
Request the show you plan to attend at least one week in advance. We recommend filling out a show request form at the same time you make your entries. Shows can be requested up to a year in advance.
Log in to the app with the user name e-mailed to you after you registered.
Choose your show/date from the list of upcoming shows.
Click on the breeds and groups you will be showing to add them to your schedule
Your schedule is automatically put in order by estimated ring time 9using the 2 minutes per dog formula). You can also sort your schedule by printed ring time. Easily add or remove breeds and groups to your schedule.
Click here to register. New users will be added and download instructions will be sent at the beginning of each week. Try the app free for 30 days. If you find it useful and wish to continue using it, we offer unlimited use and scheduling for a small fee of $5.00 for 6 months. For your fee, you will be allowed to request as many shows and specialties as you want, and save unlimited schedules.
